'Humlen ved Carlsberg' is a groundbreaking way to communicate history. A website tells the story of Carlsberg as a key representative of our industrial heritage.
The site consists of three parts:
- A virtual model - based on the latest technology from computer games industry
- A sound collage about life at Carlsberg - based on expertise from the defunct assembly department in DR
- A historical archive, making it possible to explore the brewery's 160-year history
Especially the interactive part, where in 'RealSite' - developed by Utopian City_Scape -you can move around on the old factory area is a remarkable innovation in cultural dissemination.
All buildings are carefully recorded and recreated in 3d in a virtual world where you can explore the historic town. From 3d platform offers easy access to descriptions and photographs of the buildings.
